Father Monte Hoyles’ 2026 winning design
FATHER MONTE HOYLES WINS “THE SHIRT ‘26” DESIGN CONTEST
Father Monte Hoyles Wins “The Shirt ’26” Design Contest!
The votes are in, and Sandusky Central Catholic School has a winner!
This year’s winning design was created by Father Monte Hoyles, pastor of the Catholic Parishes of Sandusky. Father Hoyles’ design was chosen from seven entries presented by alumni, parents, students and friends of SCCS.
Father Hoyles, who has just begun his ninth year as pastor in Sandusky, said his inspiration came directly from the people who make SCCS such a special place.
“I asked myself what stood behind their many achievements and successes, what was in their hearts,” Father Hoyles explained. “The answer was clear: They didn't do it only for themselves, but for others and the greater glory of God.”
His winning design reflects that powerful message, inspired by 1 Corinthians 10:31: “Everything for the glory of God.” Father Hoyles believes SCCS is a living example of what can happen when students, faculty, staff, and families use their gifts in service to others and to God.
Proceeds from the sale of this year’s shirt will go to support SCCS Campus Minsitry for all grades preschool through 12.
Congratulations, Father Hoyles—and thank you to everyone who submitted a design for this year's contest!
